海口热带农业科技博览园（简称“海口热科园”），占地面积500亩，收集保存热带植物1000余种，由中国热带农业科学院开发管理，是一座集科技创新、成果展示、农业科普、植物观赏、休闲体验、研学培训、科技交流于一体的自然展览馆。园区以展现热带农业高新技术，普及热带植物知识为主题，以热带农业科技、热带珍奇植物、热带海洋生物、科普教育示范和热带特色产品为核心产品体系，构建“一心、两馆、三园、四场、五棚、六区、七楼”的景观格局，已成为中国热科院核心的科研试验基地、成果转化平台和宣传展示窗口，也是海口市重要的农业科普基地、精品农科景点和创新城市名片。

      Haikou Exposition Park of Tropical Agricultural Science and Technology (hereinafter referred to as "The park") is located in Haikou City, Hainan Province. Covering an area of 300 mu (1 mu equals to 0.067 hectare), it collected and conserved over 1,000 species of tropical plants. The park, administrated by Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences(hereinafter referred to as CATAS), is a natural exhibition hall characterized by science innovation, achievement exhibition, plant viewing, leisure enjoying, research and training and technology exchange. The Park aims to demonstrate high-techs in the fields of tropical agriculture and spread the knowledge of tropical plants. The core product system of the park includes tropical agricultural science and technology, rare tropical plants, tropical sea creatures, science education and featured tropical products. The park was established under a landscape pattern of “one center, two halls, three parks, four squares, five museums, six areas, and seven buildings”. It has become the core scientific research and test base, the achievement transformation platform and a window of CATAS, and also an important base for agricultural science popularization, an excellent agri-tech-themed scenic spot and a business card of innovation in Haikou.
